Stana Katic is a Canadian-American film and television actress. She was born on April 26, 1978 in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada to Peter Katić and Rada Katić. She has five siblings; brothers and one sister. She completed her graduation from West Aurora High School in 1996. Later, she studied at the University of Toronto and then at the DePaul University Goodman School of Drama.Stana Katic made her screen debut in 1999, with a short film Acid Freaks. Then she appeared as Angela in 2003 film Shut-Eye. She made her television debut as Mariella in series The Handler (2004). She acted in Frank Miller's film The Spirit (2007). In 2008, she appeared in three films; including direct-to-video action film Stiletto, spy film Quantum of Solace and neo-noir superhero film The Spirit. The same year, she established her own production company, Sine Timore Productions. In 2010, she starred Katherine Torpey’s suspense film Truth about Kerry opposite Jessica Dean and Darren Keefe.
